Welcome to Unwinding Minds. Our goal is to offer supportive counseling for everyone, focusing on those facing chronic health challenges and neurodiversity. Alongside our counseling services, we offer free resources and signposting for anxiety/depression, so you can find the support you need.

Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. We believe in the power of therapy to promote healing and personal growth.

Professional Experience

For 3 years, I worked as a Mental Health Coach, facilitating more than a thousand clients to reach their towards their mental health goals and supporting them on a journey of self-love and self-discovery. As part of that program, I worked with each client across a 9 month period, giving me a lot of experience in working with clients long-term. Prior to that, I was the head of a team as a Community Mental Health Team Co-ordinator, responsible for managing a team of support workers in the community. Additionally, I have previously volunteered at both Cruse and at the Samaritans.

Education

I have previously completed Level 2, 3 and 4 in Counselling. My highest relevant qualification level is  CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Counselling. As part of my qualification I completed just over 100 clinical hours, and worked in line with BACP ethical practice.

Ongoing Commitment to Training

On top of ensuring that I continue to sharpen my skills though CPD, I am gradually working my way through a BSc in Psychology and Counselling. We are committed to staying informed about the latest therapeutic approaches and techniques, and I frequently read new research about mental health conditions.
